Items

Item and Block Changes:

White Glazed Terracotta is available again in the Creative Inventory menu and through game commands.
Aged saplings can no longer be obtained by block-picking.
The bottom texture of the Melon block now matches the top texture (Fix for MCPE-31035).
Seagrass and Kelp are no longer found under Coral Decorations in the Creative Inventory menu (Fix for MCPE-44034).
Coral Fans now look the same regardless of the direction they are facing (Fix for MCPE-125311).
Renamed undamaged tools now work properly the first time (Fix for MCPE-152637).
Piston animations appear smoother when extending and retracting (Fix for MCPE-155987).
Dropped items no longer get stuck on the edge of flowing water (Fix for MCPE-157167).
Mangrove Planks, Crimson Planks, and Warped Planks can now repair a Shield (Fix for MCPE-158940).
Blocks such as carpet and crops now appear on maps when placed above an air block or non-full block (Fix for MCPE-159713).
Iron Bars are available again in the Creative Inventory menu and through game commands (Fix for MCPE-160253).
Banners now spawn properly as new structures are generated (Fix for MCPE-160696).

Mobs

Mob Changes:

Endermen no longer become angry at players in Creative mode (Fix for MCPE-42977).
The position of the cat’s head when sitting now matches Java Edition (Fix for MCPE-46668).
The hitbox size of the Hoglin and Zoglin now matches Java Edition (Fix for MCPE-65424).
The Goat animation has been updated to slowly lower its head before ramming (Fix for MCPE-129477).
Enderman teleport range has been reduced to 32x32x32 to prevent self-despawning (Fix for MCPE-152268).
When a Villager has a nametag, the name and trade tier are now displayed together (Fix for MCPE-152644).
Allays and Bees no longer get stuck on Lanterns and low-hanging objects (Fix for MCPE-155777).
Leads attached to an Allay no longer break when the player changes dimensions (Fix for MCPE-158955).

Status Effects: None added.

Enchantments: None added.

Game Commands

Command Changes:

Updated the names of structures in the /locate command to use underscores, matching Java Edition naming conventions. For example, use /locate structure bastion_remnant instead of /locate structure bastionremnant.
The /gamemode command has been updated to switch to Spectator mode using /gamemode spectator instead of /gamemode 6.
Added a waterlog field to the /structure command and the Structure Block load tab to allow structures to be waterlogged when placed underwater.
Killing a player in Creative mode using the /kill command now results in a message stating it cannot be done (Fix for MCPE-16732).
The /scoreboard command no longer prefixes player names with the “%” character in the Chat when running the command /scoreboard players reset (Fix for MCPE-151389).
The /execute command now properly applies filters from the specified /execute at position (Fix for MCPE-156283).
The /execute command now shows integer values for block positions when running /execute if block (Fix for MCPE-156285).
Mud Brick Slab can now be placed as a top slab using game commands (Fix for MCPE-157852).
The /testfor command now targets spectator players (Fix for MCPE-158042).
The /kill command now properly drops the contents of a chest when a Boat with Chest is destroyed (Fix for MCPE-160186).

Changes

Spectator Mode (Experimental Feature):

Fish hooks unhook automatically when the player switches to Spectator mode.
Parrots on shoulders fly away when players switch to Spectator mode.
Spectator players with Frost Walker no longer freeze water.
Mobs with follow_owner attribute no longer follow spectator players.
Mobs with find_mount attribute no longer try to mount spectator players.
Pufferfish no longer interact with spectator players.
Powder snow no longer emits particles when spectator players move through it (Fix for MCPE-153876).
Spectator players can no longer interact with Sculk Shriekers when going through water or lava (Fix for MCPE-153879).
Mobs are no longer attracted to spectator players holding certain food items (Fix for MCPE-153882).
Spectator players retain their inventory and equipped items upon death (Fix for MCPE-156681).
Powder Snow fog effect no longer affects spectator players (Fix for MCPE-156683).
Big Dripleaf no longer tilts when a spectator player interacts with it (Fix for MCPE-156686).
Spectator players are no longer pushed by explosions (Fix for MCPE-156687).
Endermen no longer become angry at spectator players (Fix for MCPE-156742).
Capes are no longer displayed in Spectator mode (Fix for MCPE-156929).
Leashed animals do not follow spectator players (Fix for MCPE-157065).
Burning animation is no longer displayed when spectator players are in Lava Cauldrons (Fix for MCPE-160331).
Spectator players no longer emit particles when sprinting or when affected by status effects (Fixes for MCPE-160397 and MCPE-160398).

Keyboard Shortcuts:

Added keyboard shortcuts for copying various coordinates (requires the “Need Copy Coordinate UI” enabled in Creator settings):
- Control + Alt + C copies the current coordinates.
- Control + Alt + X copies the coordinates of a selected block.

Marketplace:

Fixed an issue causing the game to crash when browsing the Marketplace.
Fixed Marketplace connection issues to resolve automatically instead of requiring a Minecraft restart (Fix for MCPE-155025).

General Changes

Players diving into Top Snow wearing an Elytra will no longer see inside the Top Snow.
Jumping off Amethyst blocks no longer produces a sound.
Enchanting an item using the Enchanting table now produces a sound.
Added a paste button to the Command Block screen.
Music is now included in the mobile app and no longer needs to be downloaded from the Marketplace.
Changed the collision box for the Fireball to match Java Edition.
Fixed an issue causing a Villager’s bounding box to desync.
Fixed crashes related to players in beds, undying shulkers, resuming games on Xbox, and worlds with texture packs applied.
Fixed cloud-synced world issues where deleting the local version did not delete the cloud version.
Pressing Ctrl and Alt together no longer makes the Alt key stick.
Item stack popup animation now plays only when a new item is added to the stack (Fix for MCPE-23995).
Drinking a potion now leaves an empty Glass Bottle in its original slot (Fix for MCPE-26436).
Eating a stew now leaves an empty bowl in your hotbar (Fix for MCPE-56367).
Fixed performance issues related to baby Striders riding Striders (Fix for MCPE-146478).
Light Blocks are no longer removed if an Armor Stand is placed on them (Fix for MCPE-151856).
Increased generation rates for Sculk Shrieker and Sculk Sensor to match Java Edition (Fix for MCPE-153525).
Spectator players using touch controls can no longer break Boats and Minecarts (Fix for MCPE-158307).
Fixed audio stuttering on PS4 when the framerate is low (Fix for MCPE-158902).
Oak fence gates and mangrove fence gates are now flammable (Fix for MCPE-160098).
Fireballs no longer travel through portals (Fix for MCPE-160938).
